To celebrate the end of the MRes students' exams, we held a casual event with special guests. Tiesheng Wang, a 2014 Sensor CDT graduate and now Associate Professor at Dalian University of Technology (DUT) in China, returned to the CDT. He brought around 25 students, postdocs, and staff from DUT to tour the UK and meet with our students.
As well as learning about Tiesheng's journey during and after the CDT, the students took part in games to stretch their creativity about sensors. During the event, students had the opportunity to share their work and interests and to engage in a cultural exchange.
