Sensors Day 2017 will showcase highlights of sensor research and applications from all areas of science and technology. This year we have a diverse field of speakers covering the nano, micro and macro scale of sensing, from nanotechnology to humans and robots.

Sensor Team Challenge
The Sensor CDT's 2016-7 MRes cohort was set the challenge to develop a cell-free sensor platform to detect arsenic in drinking water. The students will present their results from the Team Challenge project at the conference and will run a live demonstration of the technology developed during the session intervals.
Poster submission
This is an exciting opportunity to present your sensor research to leading figures in the field from academia and industry. A prize for the best poster will be awarded at the Sensors' Day.

The deadline for submitting a poster abstract is 15 October 2017.

Sensors student showcase
This year, in addition to Sensors Day we are running a Sensor CDT PhD showcase event on 19th October. This is an exciting opportunity for PhD student participants to network and exchange ideas and research findings with their peers. We encourage PhD participants to sign up for the showcase event.
