Research

I have gradually evolved from having a research focus to having principally an education focus. As well as teaching, I contribute to strategic education initiatives at University level. I have been a leading researcher in two areas: NMR characterisation of solids and the behaviour of molecules in porous solids. I continue to be an active researcher in data analysis methods to extract physically meaningful parameters from experimental data on process kinetics.
