DescriptionRuchi is going to take us on a journey to explore the integration of biology and engineering for precision medicine. She will also share her personal experience as an entrepreneur as CEO of Stemnovate, developing miniature models of human organs to mimic biological functions and by integrating stem cell research and engineering.

Robotic hand 'plays' piano

Josie Hughes from the 2014 cohort has developed a robotic hand which mimics the movements of a human hand to play piano. Using soft and rigid parts the robotic hand helps to understand the complex movements of the human hand.
