About
Join us for a Sensor CDT Industry Lecture by Alex Patto of Waterscope.
Alex is a Royal Academy of Engineering Enterprise Fellow, and Borysiewicz Biomedical Sciences Fellow at the University of Cambridge. In 2016 he completed my PhD in Genetics at Cambridge University, and in 2015, co-founded a company called WaterScope to develop a simple, low-cost bacterial testing system for developing contexts. WaterScope has completed four field trials testing their technology, and have raised over £400,000 of non-dilutive funding to help bring them closer to their aim.
