We are pleased to announce the opportunity to take part in an interdisciplinary workshop aimed at early career researchers in any field with an interest in stem cells. This 3-day workshop will include talks from experts in the fields of Chemical Engineering, Physical Biology, and Stem Cell Biology, as well as group work. Participants will work with their group to create an interdisciplinary project and compete for the best project award at the end. Please note that participation in all sessions is required.
Applications are welcome from all early career researchers (PhD students, postdocs, junior PIs, etc). Please fill out this short form here to register your interest by 1 September. Participants will be notified by 6 September if their application was successful.
The workshop dates and locations will be:
Session 1: Tuesday 13 September: 09:30-14:00 at Jeffrey Cheah Biomedical Centre
Session 2: Friday 16 September: 14:00-18:00 at Department of Applied Mathematics & Theoretical Physics
Session 3: Monday 26 September: 14:00-18:00 at Department of Chemical Engineering & Biotechnology

Each session above includes time for a networking lunch/refreshments. After the final workshop, the winning group will be awarded a small research grant to continue work on their interdisciplinary project.
