Sensor PhD Showcase 2017
A showcase of interdisciplinary sensors research
Murray Edwards College
University of Cambridge
19 October 2017
The sensors student showcase is a student led event, which will feature poster presentations and flash talks from students of the Sensor CDTs, other Cambridge and national CDTs, and from the SAOT Photonics graduate school in Erlangen, Germany. Speakers will be selected from submitted abstracts. The conference aims to enhance links across students from different institutions and sensing disciplines.
Do you have an interesting measurement problem? Have you developed a new technology for which you seek end users? Have you got a technology you seek to commercialise? Have you made a fundamental discovery that enables or requires a new mode of measurement? Come along and discuss with expert peers from a range of disciplines and backgrounds.
At the event, local start ups will present their success stories, followed by a drinks reception and an evening of social events to meet other students and explore Cambridge.
Please register here for the Sensors PhD showcase and submit a poster abstract.
Please use the abstract template and submit to admin@sensors.cam.ac.uk.
The deadline for submitting a poster abstract is 27 September 2017.
The final program is available here.
Note: The event is organised the day before Sensors Day 2017, the flagship event of the Sensor CDT, where world leaders in Sensor Technologies will present their work in a stimulating and cross disciplinary conference. All student participants, who come to the PhD showcase are strongly encouraged also to register for Sensors Day, where they can present their posters in front of an international audience.
