For our Sensor CDT Christmas talk, we were delighted to host Prof. Utkan Demirci, Professor of Radiology and Electrical Engineering at Stanford University.
As well as a distinguished academic researcher, he is also a serial entrepreneur with expertise in translating microfluidics into licenced medical sensor devices. He discussed his work in cell sorting using microfluidics and their applications for portable point-of-care devices.
