In this month's Sensors Cafe, we enjoyed presentations by 2020 cohort PhD students Liam Self and Sophie Oldroyd.
Liam presented his research on indoor positioning, which explored the augmentation of manual data collection with GAN-generated radio maps and the utilization of graph-based ML models for accurate localization.
Sophie's talk focused on her research developing bioelectronic devices for real-time monitoring of gut tissue, aiming to revolutionize our understanding of gastrointestinal disorders.
