A Creativity Sandpit took place on 15-17 May 2018 at Easthamstead Park near Bracknell in a big old mansion and about 30 brilliant minds working together. It was organised by the High Performance Embedded and Distributed Systems (HiPEDS) CDT at Imperial College. In addition to HiPEDS and Sensor CDT, the Warwick Urban Science CDT joined in as well.

Sensor CDT at Cambridge Science Festival 2018

The Sensor CDT took part in three events at the Cambridge Science Festival 2018, demonstrating its wide range of research and teaching how to build an electronic sensor using readily available open source hardware. Students also designed and distributed a booklet with science experiments for children.
