Having successfully completed one year of his PhD in oil well moitoring, Vitaly Levdik moved to University College London where he is pursuing a PhD in machine learning.

Tanya Hutter, together with Fernando da Cruz Vasconcellos, has been instrumental in getting the MRes course off the ground. As a chemist by training she has set up her own company, SensorHut, which specialises in optical chemical sensors. She is also a Henslow Research Fellow at Darwin College, Cambridge.
